Now that Phase 1 of IS101 is behind us, I’ve been thinking about how it went. Honestly, I enjoyed it. I felt that LabSim and some of the assignments helped me a lot. I don't think I would do anything differently since I feel like I've been putting in the effort.
One skill from Chapter 4 that really stood out to me is 4.5.7 Page Formatting Tips. It helped me understand how to set up margins, indents, and spacing properly, which made my documents look way more professional.
The MO-110 Word certification exam was pretty straightforward and I took it very easily. The LabSim prep helped me a lot with that. In future phases, I still want to stay on top of the bonus quizzes and keep practicing with the simulations.
These past few days have been difficult and tiring, and honestly, I just want to finish the semester. This is the last push to do well in the class. Shout out to everyone who’s been helping out — let’s get through this together.
Hey Rafael, I like how you kept your reflection simple and honest, it shows you were consistent with your effort rather than trying to overstate things. I agree with what you said about LabSim, it may seem basic at first, but it really helps build familiarity with the tools over time. The page formatting section you mentioned is also something people tend to overlook, but it actually makes a big difference in how professional a document looks.
ReplyDeleteFor the MO 110 exam, I understand what you mean about it feeling straightforward, but that usually comes from the amount of practice behind it. The part where you mentioned the past few days being tiring is very relatable, especially when balancing school with other responsibilities. Good luck on the Excel exam, it definitely requires more logical thinking and problem solving compared to Word, not just repetition.
Glad you enjoyed Phase 1 of IS101 and found the MO-110 Word exam straightforward, Rafael :-)
ReplyDeleteI love your rallying to finish the semester strong!
May you and your classmates finish the final third of the Spring 2026 on a high note ^_^

ReplyDeleteHi Rafael. I think that knowing how to change the format for the page is important. Knowing that will help you follow rules for MLA format and APA format.

ReplyDeleteHonestly, right there with you of being tired and just wanted the semester to finish. Although it is tiring, the learning part of the Phase 2 is just hits different, exhausting like climbing the peak of a mountain but the rewards are worth it. Keep pushing forward and see you at the finish line!
ReplyDeleteI liked the positive vibe of your post. The part at the end was especially relatable because I think everyone is feeling a little tired at this point in the semester 😭. Glad the MO-110 exam went smoothly for you too.
ReplyDeleteHi Rafael, I love the motivation! I think a lot of us are drained and ready for a break. I'm not sure about anyone else but after spring break I started to feel ready for summer break. Learning formatting tips was very helpful understanding quick ways to get your work aligned and spaced correctly makes a huge difference. I remember some classes I struggled with my essays figuring it out the hard way how to align using the ruler.
ReplyDeleteHi Rafael, I liked your reflection on how page formatting tips helped improve the professionalism of your documents. Your steady approach with LabSim clearly paid off in your preparation for exams.
ReplyDeleteIt felt easy preparing for the exam, just when I thought that I didn't prepare enough, and what's funny is that when I made a little mistake, I would think that I did alot of mistakes and would restart the exam problem which took up a lot of time when restarting but glad you passed!
ReplyDeleteNice to see you are enjoying the workload despite wanting the semester to end Rafael! I feel the same, I just want to get to rest again and fix my circadian rhythm soon haha :) I hope you get a nice break now.
ReplyDeleteHello Rafael. I'm glad you enjoyed Phase 1! Great job with your MO-110 certification!
